A Glasgow nightclub has installed a two-way mirror which allows male revellers in private booths to spy on unsuspecting women as they visit the toilet! With no notification or signage anywhere in the venue many female club goers have been left feeling embarrassed and used. Although they do briefly show the mirrors in a promo video, the club has been quickly deleting comments and posts on their social media from club goers trying to alert others to the situation. This is pretty much illegal and hugley violates privacy. Thank you The Shimmy Club for giving us a shiny, new, creative and cool take on objectification.

Remember ladies:

• “No space, leave the place” (fingernail test)
• A two way mirror must be set INTO the wall, not placed on top of it.
• If you rap/knock against the mirror, one installed onto a wall (a normal mirror) will make a dull sound, because there’s something behind it. A two-way will have more reverberation.
• Use the flashlight on your phone to shine on the mirror, if it’s a two-way, you’ll be able to see into the other room.
• You can also shield your eyes and see in if you lean up against the glass.
• The room being viewed will have to be brightly lit (10x brighter than the room looking in), so if you’re in a typical dimly lit club bathroom, you’re ok.

Hey, guys, friendly reminder that death threats are illegal.

I know there are portions of fandom that have a hard time respecting Amanda Abbington or just the cast and crew of Sherlock in general (posting fan-originated setlock or posting fan-originated photographs of Martin Freeman and Amanda Abbington’s children despite repeated requests from the couple not to do so).

But this crosses all lines by a long-shot. You do not have the right to send anyone death threats. You don’t. It’s illegal. Death threats are also why Steven Moffat no longer has a Twitter account. Stop it. It’s not cute. It’s not funny. It’s not a game. It’s illegal in multiple countries.

Uh, you guys, Adam Glass basically just confirmed Destiel is canon.

I know some people have problems with his wording, but I want to bring up a couple points.

1. Just because two people are not in a relationship, it doesn’t mean they’re not in love.
2. Most TV romances don’t end up in a relationship until the very END of the show. 

They don’t want Dean and Cas to be in a relationship right now, because then they will only be known as that “couple” on Supernatural, and the media will lose focus on the other equally important aspects of their relationship. 

But…they are in love. 

Adam Glass said they can be all of them.

Friends.

Family.

And LOVERS.

And according to him, they are. That’s validation.
