So I went from listening to Billboard’s top 100 for this week to listening to Billboard’s top songs of the 2000’s and I’m like how angry were we? Seriously, the first half of Gen Y, how angry were we compared to what’s selling at the moment? It’s like Gen X and the first half of Gen Y had this big angst fest so the younger half of Gen Y and whatever the next generation will be could have party anthems, stereo hearts, and call me maybes.
