=_= Dear news outlets, I don’t know where you’ve been for the past say fifteen years, but there’s nothing “surprising” about Pagan mythology juxtaposed with Christian mythology. It’s something that was done in many regions to not only convert, but apply the new religion to the old religion in a means to understand it. I mean I’ve known since high school that there are artifacts in Britain with depictions of the Ragnarok on one side and the Christian Apocalypse on the other. This isn’t really new or different. I mean Constantine chose the Catholics when he converted the Roman Empire because they were following a Christianity close to the religion of the Romans at the time after all.
